Meet the inspiration
Other Half is the collaborative effort of three close-knit sisters.
Fossicking, gem collecting and jewellery making is in our blood and has fuelled and inspired us to create Other Half.
The matriarch of the family, our Nana, Dawn Newbery started it all in the 60's and our parents, Maurie & Toni Newbery have continued fossicking and jewellery making throughout their lives.
Our first collection, 'Femme' is a gorgeous melding of pink sapphire and diamond engagement rings, created exclusively for the fun and flirty. Our second collection, 'La Lune', launching in February 2025, is inspired by the moon and ocean, combining stunning Australian fresh water pearls as well as bold sapphires and tourmalines.
